Dr. Santosh Agrawal is presently the chief Urologist and Kidney Transplant Surgeon in Bansal Hospital, Bhopal. He has a special interest in endoscopic and laser treatment of kidney stones and prostate. He is the chief of the kidney transplant program at Bansal Hospital. He is doing a laparoscopic removal of the kidney for a kidney transplant and was the first urologist in Indore to perform laparoscopic diner nephrectomy.
His previous appointment was at SAIMS and Mohak Hospital Indore as head of the Department of Urology and Kidney Transplant where he successfully started the MCh Urology and Kidney Transplant Programme. He is also a trained Robotic Urologic Surgeon (Roswell Park Cancer Institute, Buffalo, NY, USA). He is the first and the only Urologist in MP to have performed Robotic Urologic Surgery.
